    Role summary:

    To support the Shift Manager in completion of daily de-briefs to ensure high standards of Customer service and courier compliance with all operational processes. 

    Key responsibilities

    • Daily completion of De-brief ensuring any service issues/failures are logged & communicated to Customer service, management team.
    • Ensuring all driver non-compliances are investigated & escalated accordingly.
    • Use of the company software to monitor performance supporting with on the road issues as required.
    • Ensuring all returned items are returned as per SOP.
    • Completion of Ad-hoc de-briefs as & when required.
    • Daily download of handheld scanners ensuring the condition of the any faults are reported.
    • All returns are coded correctly.
    • Completion of Ad-hoc vehicle audits.
    • POD & address data entry.

    Role summary:

    The successful candidate will support the warehousing and distribution operation by safely and efficiently shunting vehicles around the premises.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and site requirements.
    • Ensure that consideration is given to other drivers, colleagues and pedestrians in the work area.
    • Ensure all daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and associated paperwork completed
    • Complete all necessary paperwork, such as movement sheets, on time and in full
    • To be respectful to other road users and members of the public ensuring the reputation of the business is protected at all times.
    • Observe Company rules and procedures as defined in the shunter pack and other Company Policies and Procedures, such as site rules.
    • Ensure that all personal protective equipment (PPE) used is in good order and is utilised as instructed
    • Ensure all operations are undertaken in line with the relevant SSOW.
    • Continually seek to improve our processes and services.
    • Ensure all vehicles are checked for defects prior to use and such is reported immediately.

     

    Essential Criteria

    • You should have held your HGV 1/C+E Licence for a minimum 2 years.
    • No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
    • Hold a current valid DCPC Card.
    • Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation.
    • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report  defects correctly.
    • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.

    To transport goods to and from customers’ premises, and our central hubs, into the DX delivery network. This role requires the ability to work to deadlines and to manage on-road routes in order to achieve time-sensitive deliveries.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Proven track record of driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
    • Understand and be able to comply with driver’s hours and WTD legislation
    • Understand and be able to carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and to be able to report defects correctly
    • Must comply with on-site health and safety requirements
    • Have the experience and knowledge to be able to divert cross country to and from the hub as and when signs, traffic or other conditions dictate

     

    Essential Criteria
