Role summary:
DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the accurate and timely sortation of parcels and mail. The role is essential to ensuring our customers receive the correct deliveries at the correct time and uphold our promise of delivering exactly.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurate sortation of parcels and mail either by hand or through the use of sortation equipment
- Scanning and loading of parcels and mail into sacks and cages
- Ensuring all sortation is completed in line with DX operating procedures and security standards
- Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills; the ability to interpret and complete paperwork in a fast-paced environment
- Works well under pressure and is comfortable in achieving tight deadlines
- Proactive and energetic and takes an active part in the success of the department and team

Role summary:
To manage the day to day running of the team on shift in ensuring all aspects of the operation is completed in a Customer focused, secure and cost effective way. Making sure our 5C’s are key in everything we do: Customer, Cost & Productivity, Cash, Colleagues, Core.
Key responsibilities
- To use company systems to create and update deliveries and to locate, track and trace items.
- To communicate with all relevant departments and build strong relationships with the Customer call centre.
- Answer Customer queries in a fast efficient way.
- To actively promote and encourage a ‘’can do’’ attitude and approach with the team.
- Daily communication with Life Style Couriers, setting the Customer standards and expectations, feedback Signature Rates,
- FTSA , FTSD and any relevant Customer KPI.
- Full briefings to the Team and Couriers with any New Customer or any Customer at Risk.
- Working closely with the C& D Manager in the running of the Lifestyle Couriers, ensuring compliances and performances are monitored.
- Conduct annual performance reviews, improving multi skill training and productivity.
- To carry out all tasks in accordance with our Standard Operations Processes.
- Ensuring KPI’S are achieved through effective control, monitoring and review.
- Implement and maintain Health and Safety and Security Policies.
- To adhere to a Strict Security Policy throughout the Service Centre.
- To perform any other duty as reasonably requested by a Senior Manager.
Essential criteria for this role
- Previous experience in the mail or distribution industry

Role summary:
The Shift Manager role reports to the Operations Manager and leads and manages all aspects of the daily shift operation in a cost effective and productive manner. The Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring that service is in line with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicator targets. This key leadership role will also effectively manage all colleagues on the shift to ensure all Customer expectations are achieved.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the warehousing operation for the shift ensuring the effective and accurate sortation of goods.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken in line with company policies in safe and proactive manner
- Managing costs and performance of the shift
- Lead and engage a team to drive excellent customer service
- Effective management of performance, conduct, absence, engagement and training and development of team members, holding people accountable to agreed departmental and company standards.
- Monitor KPI’s, identify and communicate associated actions and highlight areas for improvement.
- Provide a shift summary and handover record with any exceptions detailed and actioned.

- Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry

Role summary:
To deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported by van safely to the customers’ premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.
Key responsibilities
- Proven track record of driving 3.5t vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
- Delivering goods to customers’ premises ensuring deliveries are made within customer Service Level Agreements
- Good geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate using maps whilst gaining local knowledge
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and has the ability to build a rapport with others
- Solving customer problems at the point of delivery
