The role of the Operations Assistant is to assist the Depot on a day to day basis ensuring secure deliveries throughout a specific region in compliance to a stringent Security Policy and client specification. The Operations Assistant will also be responsible for the out brief of all drivers. In addition to this, the role of the Operations Assistant is to liaise with DXF employees allowing for synergies between both sides of the business
- To adhere to a Strict Security Policy throughout the Depot
- To use company systems to create and update deliveries
- To use the systems to locate, track and trace items
- To communicate with the depot team and all relevant departments at the call centre
- To carry out all tasks in accordance with our operations manual and staff handbook
- There may be the need to drive company vehicles (Subject to company approval)
- To perform any other duty as reasonably requested by a Senior Manager
Essential criteria for this role
Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry
