    Role summary:

    Our Customer Service Advisors live our customer promise – Delivered Exactly - by delighting our customers each and every time. This role, through proactive and timely actions, provides fantastic service to a wide range of interesting and demanding customers.  Working alongside our operational and account management teams you will be able to positively influence our customers’ needs and resolve any potential issues.

     

    Key responsibilities:

    • Receive and handle all inbound, internal and external customer queries and manage through to resolution for specific customer accounts
    • Action all customer queries in line with the required processes and service level agreements
    • Work as part of a team to ensure great customer service delivery – every time
    • Engage proactively with service centres to ensure customer requirements are received and actioned
    • Recognise and deal with queries, requests and problems in line with our customer account requirements
    • Identification and action of escalation issues
    • Undertake any other customer account support duties as required

    7.5t Driver

    An exciting new 7.5t Driver opportunity at DX!

     

    Role summary:

    To deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers’ premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
    • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times
    • All daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are  immediately reported and correct paperwork completed
    • Ensure all product are scanned using DX scanning equipment
    • Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot
    • Observe DX procedures and policies at all times
    • Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved
    • Ensure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment)  is in good order and used at all times
    • Ensure all delivery and on road issues are reported to the traffic office immediately
    • Ensure the customer receives their deliveries in excellent condition every time
    • Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner
    • Ensure collections are made in line with given instructions and times 

    Essential Criteria

    • Must hold C1 or above on licence with valid DQC and Tacho card
    • Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
    • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
    • Ability to build a rapport with customers

    Group FP&A Manager

    Role summary:

    We’re looking for an organised and self-motivated individual to join and work with the Head of Operational Finance on driving FP&A across DX. The role will work closely with the Head of Operational Finance to support the business by providing meaningful information and analysis for informed decision making as well as in depth forecasting.

    The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with leadership qualities, able to prioritise workloads, with the ability to communicate effectively.

    Key responsibilities

    • Preparation and oversight of the annual group budget and any further forecasting undertaken by the business
    • Provide meaningful insights and commentary on group performance both weekly and monthly against budget and prior periods; highlighting any potential areas of concerns to the appropriate people
    • Build a FP&A database to facilitate the analysis above
    • Must be willing and able to visit the depots around the country to grow understanding of the business and work with management teams on forecasting
    • Overview of the group CAPEX process including reviewing adherence to the business cases and report on any under performance
    • Help lead continuous improvement in all that we do including automation and standardisation where possible

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Strong excel skills including working with large amounts of data in an efficient manner
    • Previous experience in an FP&A type role; preferably studying for professional exams or recently qualified
    • The candidate would ideally have experience of working closely with non-finance individuals
    • Used to working to and achieving tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Financial systems experience desirable
    • Driving licence

    • Have strong analytical and organisational skills and a questioning approach
    • Keen eye for detail
    • Ability to not only create accurate reports but question and review the numbers and their impact
    • Ability to continually review the reports produced by themselves and the team for their effectiveness within the business
    • Tenacity to ensure timetables are met
    • ‘Quality in everything we do, get it right first time’ attitude
    • Strong communication skills are essential
    • Be a team player, with ability lead and guide from the front to achieve successful team outcomes
    • Be a proactive individual with the drive to always ask the question why?
