Role summary:

The Contract Manager is to ensure the service, image and performance of the contract in line with the customer’s expectations. The Contract Manager will also maximise contract profitability, control costs, invoicing and ensure the timely submission of financial data. The role of the Contract Manager is also to ensure service level targets are achieved and exceeded whilst minimising delivery and collection costs in line with budget. In addition to this, the Contract Manage must manage all aspects of the contracts service centre ensuring the achievement of the contracts KPI’s as set out by both company and the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Evident line management experience in production/logistics/mail/ parcels services environment to at least the same level of responsibility.
• Experience of managing budgets.
• Have the ability and the track record to seek improvements without having to be prompted.
• Ability to identify problems and design deployable solutions.
• Proven record of successful Customer interface and supplier management.
• Ability to manage commercial relationships with customers and suppliers through the maintenance of service/product processes to deliver excellent customer service; promoting organic growth and reducing customer attrition.

Essential criteria for this role

• Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry

Role summary:

The Warehouse Operative assists in the sortation, storage, loading and unloading of product within the warehouse operation. This role works on behalf of our customers to ensure they are receiving the correct freight at the correct time and upholding our promise of delivering exactly.

Key responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
• Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies
• Handle all freight with care and attention
• Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
• Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot
• Report all damages immediately to your line manager
• Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information
• Ensure that customers freight are transported, stored safely and treated with respect
• Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team
• Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately

Additional information on this role

If you currently have a FLT licence that would be great, as would experience of dealing with high volume warehousing operations.

An exciting new Drivers Mate opportunity at DX!

Working a 4 days on, 2 days off shift pattern over a 6 week schedule, giving you guaranteed days off

Role Summary:

The Drivers Mate role is to deliver products to the customer home address as part of a two man crew. The Drivers Mate will ensure that all product is transported safely to the customers premises and is delivered to the customers room of choice. The role of the Drivers Mate is an interesting and varied role with extensive customer contact.
