Role summary:
This role proactively manages the compliance of operator licence and the inspection, repair and maintenance of the vehicle fleet. In addition, you will manage the on-boarding of PAYE drivers and sub-contractors whilst playing an active role in building efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the fleet compliance for the depot.
- Managing vehicle service planning in line with company policy
- Ensure all inspections, checks, tachograph calibration checks and RFL are carried out on time and in line with company policy
- Carryout driver licence checks for PAYE/Agency and sub-contractor drivers in line with company policy.
- Management of driver licence mandates and confirming monthly checks have been carried out and reported into Engineering.
- Ensuring all pre-use and end of use checks are being carried out by all drivers and the information is recorded in line with company policy.
- Complete sub-contractor reviews
- Produce relevant reporting and management information to increase efficiency, business improvement and customer satisfaction
Essential criteria for this role
- CPC Manager (National / International) Qualification
- Specialist in driver and vehicle legislation
- Transport compliance background/experience

Role summary:
The successful candidate will support the warehousing and distribution operation by safely and efficiently shunting vehicles around the premises.
Key responsibilities
- Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and site requirements.
- Ensure that consideration is given to other drivers, colleagues and pedestrians in the work area.
- Ensure all daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and associated paperwork completed
- Complete all necessary paperwork, such as movement sheets, on time and in full
- To be respectful to other road users and members of the public ensuring the reputation of the business is protected at all times.
- Observe Company rules and procedures as defined in the shunter pack and other Company Policies and Procedures, such as site rules.
- Ensure that all personal protective equipment (PPE) used is in good order and is utilised as instructed
- Ensure all operations are undertaken in line with the relevant SSOW.
- Continually seek to improve our processes and services.
- Ensure all vehicles are checked for defects prior to use and such is reported immediately.
Essential Criteria
- You should have held your HGV 1/C+E Licence for a minimum 2 years.
- No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
- Hold a current valid DCPC Card.
- Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.

Role summary:
DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible to ensure the safe and efficient unloading and loading of freight from vehicles into, and from the site. They will also support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routes.
Key responsibilities:
- Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
- Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including the correct use of all PPE
- Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies at all times
- Handle all freight with care and attention
- Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
- Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight
- Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the site
- Report all damages immediately to your line manager
- Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information
- Ensure that customers freight is transported, stored safely and treated with respect
- Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting any suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team
- Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues are reported immediately
