    Role summary:

    The Warehouse Operative assists in the sortation, storage, loading and unloading of product within the warehouse operation. This role works on behalf of our customers to ensure they are receiving the correct freight at the correct time and upholding our promise of delivering exactly.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
    • Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies
    • Handle all freight with care and attention
    • Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
    • Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight
    • Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot
    • Report all damages immediately to your line manager
    • Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information
    • Ensure that customers freight are transported, stored safely and treated with respect
    • Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team
    • Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately

     

    Additional information on this role

    If you currently have a FLT licence that would be great, as would experience of dealing with high volume warehousing operations.

    7.5t Driver

    An exciting new 7.5t Driver opportunity at DX!

     

    Role summary:

    To deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers’ premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
    • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times
    • All daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are  immediately reported and correct paperwork completed
    • Ensure all product are scanned using DX scanning equipment
    • Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot
    • Observe DX procedures and policies at all times
    • Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved
    • Ensure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment)  is in good order and used at all times
    • Ensure all delivery and on road issues are reported to the traffic office immediately
    • Ensure the customer receives their deliveries in excellent condition every time
    • Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner
    • Ensure collections are made in line with given instructions and times 

    Essential Criteria

    • Must hold C1 or above on licence with valid DQC and Tacho card
    • Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
    • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
    • Ability to build a rapport with customers

    • Proven track record of driving 7.5t vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
    • Working as part of a 2-person team delivering goods to customers’ premises ensuring deliveries are made within customer Service Level Agreements
    • Installation and light assembly of customer goods
    • Good geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate using maps whilst gaining local knowledge
    • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and has the ability to build a rapport with others
    • Solving customer problems at the point of delivery

    Desktop 2nd Level Support

    Come join our DX IT Service Desk team.

    We are seeking our next Desktop Support (2nd level support) colleague to join our fast-paced and hard-working team. 

    Reporting into the IT Service Desk Manager, this role is based at our Liverpool office full time. We are looking for:

    • proven strong technical skills.
    • solid analytical troubleshooting techniques.
    • confidence to take ownership of your own workload including break/fix issues and request fulfilment.
    • the drive to resolve with accuracy and compliance.
    • excellent inter-personal skills are at the core of our team in promoting clear, effective and enthusiastic working relationships. 
    • proven attention to detail and are timely, focused and able to perform under pressure.

    Main Responsibilities

    Responsible for the resolution of incidents and requests logged within the ITSM tool providing services over the phone, e-mail, in person and via our Service Desk colleague portal. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to PC, terminals, printers and scanners) to ensure optimal workstation performance.

    Administrative and Data

    • Daily, weekly and monthly system or compliance checks
    • Bespoke software support, setup, configuration and administration
    • Produce and maintain documentation
    • Complete change requests for software installations and upgrades

    Service Desk Support

    • Incident Management - classifying, prioritising, recording or capturing tasks or actions for audit purposes
    • Problem Management - identifying trends to reduce repeat incidents
    • Change Enablement - using change controls to help support the team
    • Knowledge Management - identify, capture, coach and share knowledge
    • Service Fulfilment - accurately follow process & procedures
    • Liaising with managed service providers
    • Occasional site visits 

    Hardware, Server and Networks

    • Low level server maintenance and administration
    • VPN and security access
    • Troubleshooting network and hardware issues
    • Supporting internal phone systems
    • Asset Management
    • Multifunctional Device (MFD) support

     Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Previous 2-3 years’ experience in a 1st/2nd line support role in a service orientated environment
    • Foundation ITIL is desirable
    • Working with SLA’s, OLA’s and XLA’s or having a grounded understanding of all.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy essential
    • Citrix environment experience is desirable 
    • Microsoft: Windows OS, M365, Azure and MS Exchange Online experience is an advantage
    • Hardware builds / configuration knowledge – laptops, desktops and thin clients
    • PowerShell is desirable but not essential
