    Role summary:

    DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the accurate and timely sortation of parcels and mail. The role is essential to ensuring our customers receive the correct deliveries at the correct time and uphold our promise of delivering exactly. 

    Key responsibilities:

    • Accurate sortation of parcels and mail either by hand or through the use of sortation equipment
    • Scanning and loading of parcels and mail into sacks and cages
    • Ensuring all sortation is completed in line with DX operating procedures and security standards
    • Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping
    • Strong literacy and numeracy skills; the ability to interpret and complete paperwork in a fast-paced environment
    • Works well under pressure and is comfortable in achieving tight deadlines
    • Proactive and energetic and takes an active part in the success of the department and team

    Role summary:

    To deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported by van safely to the customers’ premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Proven track record of driving 3.5t vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
    • Delivering goods to customers’ premises ensuring deliveries are made within customer Service Level Agreements
    • Good geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate using maps whilst gaining local knowledge
    • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and has the ability to build a rapport with others
    • Solving customer problems at the point of delivery

     

    Additional information on this role

    A current driving licence is essential for this role. This is an active role and a great opportunity to thrive in a fantastic team environment and grow with the company.

    Role summary:

    To supervise the day to day operations on site including people management, warehousing, traffic and admin operations. To deputise for the Contract / Operations Manager where required. Supervise all aspects of the contracts service centre ensuring the achievement of the contracts KPI’s as set out by both company and the customer. To ensure that all site operations are completed escalating issues where necessary.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Plan and co-ordinate the incoming goods, storage and dispatch of items in a timely and efficient manner to achieve your team objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs),
    • To ensure all warehousing activities are undertaken in line with the Operations Manual and service centre working instructions as applicable.
    • Ensure efficient planning of resource to ensure the operation is undertaken in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
    • To ensure all vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely and correctly and within specified time limits
    • To ensure warehouse operatives complete loading and unloading documentation on time and in full.
    • Ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management to include space allocation, stock transfer and dealing with non-confirming product.
    • Responsible for ensuring that the quality of the product and service within the Warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standards for the customer.

     

    Essential criteria for this role

    • Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry
